Ruth Rodgers entered journalism in 1991 as a trainee reporter at the Co Down Outlook. Since then she has worked for a number of other local news titles including the Banbridge Chronicle and the Dromore Leader.  In March 2009 she became the third editor of Farming Life, Northern Ireland's leading agricultural supplement since 1963.  In 2023 the Farm Week title also came under National World ownership, both in terms of digital and print presence.  Both titles now come under the responsibility of one editorial team.
