THE two-day Loughanmore point-to-point festival, which was scheduled to take place on Friday 30th March and Monday 1st April, has been cancelled.

Following a comprehensive inspection on Monday by the organisers, the East Down Hunt, and Turf Club officials, including Senior Inspector of Courses, Frankie Fitsimmons, the decision was taken to cancel the meeting.
The Templepatrick event always attracts the largest attendance of the season on Easter Monday, with many non-racing members of the public utilising the fixture as an opportunity for a day out during the holiday period.
