A child was airlifted to hospital by Air Ambulance last night following a serious road traffic collision involving a tractor and a car.

The collision happened on the Pharis Road, Armoy, Co Antrim, just before 7pm and involved a tractor towing a silage trailer and a car.

A spokesperson for the Northern Ireland Ambulance Service said last night that two other people were taken to the Causeway Hospital while two more are being treated at Antrim Area Hospital.
